What is a Visa Support Letter, Why do I need it?
In order to apply for a tourist visa, you need to have a set of documents including a Visa Support Letter provided by a tour operator in Russia licensed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This letter, prepared for you in Russian, is confirmation of your visit and will be faxed to you along with a stamped and signed hotel voucher. Submit both these documents with your visa application. Our letter will cover the nights in Russia that you have reservations with our service.

How Do I get Visa Support Letter from you?
We provide Visa Support Letter ONLY when you make a hotel reservation through our system. To receive one, simply make a hotel reservation and click on "Add a Visa Support Letter" link in your shopping cart. Remember, the visa support letter will cover all the nights that you book through our service.
How long does it take to get the Visa Support Letter?
For real time reservations we fax your visa support letter within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. For reservations on request, we fax the visa support letter to you when we confirm your reservations – usually within 48 hours.
How much a Visa Support Letter costs?
The cost is 33 USD non-refundable fee.
Once I have the Visa Support Letter, what do I do next?
You now need to apply for the visa. To do so, you apply to your local Russian Consulate with the following documentation:
a) An invitation/visa support letter from a registered Russian tourist company. (This is what we can provide you with).
b) Tourist Voucher - you obtain this from us when you make your hotel booking and we fax you a stamped and signed hotel voucher along with your visa support letter for visa application purposes.
c) Passport (valid for a minimum of 6 months after date of arrival in Russia)
d) 1 passport photo minimum (some Consulates require up to 3)
e) Completed visa application form
f) The fee
g) Copy of travel insurance policy (not always required)
h) Copy of your flight tickets (not always required)
IMPORTANT NOTES
Once your visa has been issued, you should check that details are correct before entering Russia – visas cannot be extended when you are in Russia, and fines are payable if you do not leave the country on or before the date given on your visa. You cannot enter Russia before the date of entry shown on your visa.
Our Visa Support Letter is valid for the nights booked with us and unless you specifically request otherwise, it is valid for one entry to Russia only.
